The Deviants by CJ Skuse {Yomna's Review}

My rating: 4/5

Blurb:

When you set out for revenge, dig two graves

Growing up in the sleepy English seaside town of Brynston, the fearless five – Ella, Max, Corey, Fallon and Zane – were always inseparable. Living up to their nickname, they were the adventurous, rowdy kids who lived for ghost stories and exploring the nearby islands off the coast. But when Max’s beloved older sister Jessica is killed, the friendship seems to die with her.

Now years later, only Max and Ella are in touch; still best friends and a couple since they were thirteen. Their lives are so intertwined Max’s dad even sponsors Ella’s training for the Commonwealth Games. But Ella is hiding things. Like why she hates going to Max’s house for Sunday dinner, and flinches whenever his family are near. Or the real reason she’s afraid to take their relationship to the next level.

When underdog Corey is bullied, the fearless five are brought back together again, teaming up to wreak havoc and revenge on those who have wronged them. But when the secrets they are keeping can no longer be kept quiet, will their fearlessness be enough to save them from themselves?

8 MORE SARAH J MAAS BOOKS!!!!!! Lara Jean Book 3, The Star Touched Queen sequel and Red Queen Book 3 OH MA GOD {Yomna's Post}

Sarah J Maas is publishing SIX more books in the A Court of Thorns of Roses series, and TWO more in Throne of Glass. I'M SO EXCITED.

For Throne of Glass, besides the 6th (and final) untitled book, Sarah J Maas is publishing a Chaol Westfall novella, and a guide to the Throne of Glass world titled The World of Throne of Glass. It's going to contain maps, pronunciation guides, a timeline, and other cool stuff for us fans to completely immerse ourselves in this Aelin's world.

I am especially excited for the novella, not because I'm a particularly big fan of Chaol; I think he's a great character but I was never Team Chaol, but because I think it's going to be about him traveling to heal his back with Nesryn Faliq. Sign me up for that!

The Witch's Kiss by Katharine & Elizabeth Corr {Yomna's Review}

Sixteeen-year-old Meredith is fed-up with her feuding family and feeling invisible at school – not to mention the witch magic that shoots out of her fingernails when she’s stressed. Then sweet, sensitive Jack comes into her life and she falls for him hard. The only problem is that he is periodically possessed by a destructive centuries-old curse. Meredith has lost her heart, but will she also lose her life? Or in true fairytale tradition, can true love’s kiss save the day?

I received this book for free through Netgalley from HarperCollins in exchange for an honest review! Thank you to HarperCollins and Netgalley!

A Court of Mist and Fury {Yomna's Review} I'M RHYSAND TRASH

HELLOOOOOOO!!
I just read ACOMAF

A Court of Mist and Fury

fjghkgshgkahfslghslhlhsghskgsgh

For those who've read the book, you understand.

ACOMAF is incredible, and blows ACOTAR completely out of the water. I'm so impressed!

Also, please note that I use the acronym SJM instead of typing out Sarah J Maas over and over and again. ACOTAR means A Court of Thorns and Roses and ACOMAF means A Court of Mist and Fury.

Okay, now that we've got that cleared up, please also note this post is packed with spoilers. I strongly recommend if you haven't read this book and are interested in reading it that you leave right now. The goodreads link for ACOMAF is here.

Let's get started! (Yes, I must honor my totally healthy obsession with Jennifer Lawrence by placing a Jennifer Lawrence gif here. Deal with it!)
