Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl and the idea is to share our love for books through lists based on various topics that are assigned every week. Check out the link for more information!
Fall doesn't really exist in Cairo where I live, it's more like a milder summer, but nevertheless, it's a great time to read. The scorching heat recedes and I'm left with some pleasant days and nights to spend reading whether indoors or outdoors. These are the books I'm most excited to read this fall, I only hope I can get to them all. I've been a chronically slow reader lately, but it always helps to have a plan right? The ones I am most excited for are Aurora Rising and Daughter of the Moon Goddess since I have physical copies of those and I haven't read anything but ebooks for a while.
I didn't enjoy the Aurora Cycle anywhere near as much as the Illuminae Files, but I hope you enjoy it and all your other slightly-cooler-weather reads.
ReplyDeleteI hope I do I'm very excited to find out! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI didn’t know that about Cairo. Interesting! What are winter and spring like for you?
ReplyDeleteI’ve heard wonderful things about The Lightning Thief.

In winter which is basically only one month around January it gets pretty cold but spring here is fantastic and really great weather! Yes, I'm excited to dig into Percy Jackson. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteI love your mix of newer and backlist titles. And sometimes I just crave reading a physical book after nothing but ebooks and audiobooks.
ReplyDeletePercy Jackson is one of my favourite series, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I also really enjoyed Caraval.

I live in Arizona (U.S.A.), where it's hot most of the time as well. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, we had beautiful Fall weather with crisp breezes and lots of gorgeous color. Here, it's like you say...just a milder summer. It will get cold around January and February, though.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your books!
Happy TTT!
Great list! Caraval is definitely worth the read!

Cairo, Egypt? Or Cairo, Illinois? I'm guessing Egypt, which is pretty cool! You have lots of awesome books on your list! I really want to read Daughter of the Moon Goddess too. I hope you enjoy all of these!
ReplyDeleteYes Cairo, Egypt haha! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteThis is the second time I've seen Violeta pop up today. I'm going to have to check it out I think.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
I hope you enjoy your books and your milder summer! I don't think I could live in Cairo. Nonstop heat drives me crazy. :)
ReplyDeleteI really want to read Daughter of the Moon Goddess too. Hope you'll enjoy al of these!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy all of these! I know so many loved Caraval when it releases and lots of people love Rick's books too. I haven't ever read either but was super curious about Stephanie's at one time. :) Thanks a bunch for visiting my website on this week. Apologies for the delay in visiting here.
ReplyDeleteNo worries of course, happy reading!
