I'm really disappointed to say that I definitely did not enjoy this book as much as I thought I would. 

I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review!

Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this book, but not as much as I predicted going into it. 

One of my biggest issues with this book was how dramatic it was. I felt that it exaggerated Mason's 'endless fans' and 'women at his command'. Tegan villainized Mason way too much. It was just exacerbated to the point where it became annoying. Tegan kept doubting their relationship over and over and I get is, she's dealt with a lot of trauma in her past (my intention is not to devalue the significance and impact something like that can have on someone's life) but Mason just kept on forgiving her again and again when she clearly didn't trust him. It got to the point where I thought these repetitive conflicts were put in there just to meet an appropriate word count. 

I really did enjoy the letters in the story. They were so sweet and romantic. And there's a parallel between the letters that happen to Tegan and it was adorable. I really really liked it.

I did not particularly like Tegan's cliche act of not liking Mason because he was popular and had a lot of other options besides her. It just felt really annoying. Especially since she brought it up wayyyy too much. 

I'm so sorry, and maybe this is really shallow of me, but I really can't say I felt any of characters' feelings or emotions in this book. They fell short of my expectations, and I am actually really bitter about that. I had pretty high expectations for this book. 

I do want point out some positives about this book:

1) Good supporting characters provided some pretty hilarious situations

2) An interesting romance 

3) Really interesting setting. 

Overall, I don't have a very positive impression of this book. However, please don't hesitate to try it. I'm sure some other people might enjoy it much more than me. Let my opinion influence you but not ultimately decide your stance on this book.
