Clear your schedules!! May is looking to be the biggest month for YA in 2016.
So many YA books are coming out this year, but some of the best authors are releasing books in May, and it's looking to be a killer month for us readers of YA.
THE CROWN BY KIERA CASS - May 3rd 2016
There are literally so many books coming out May the 3rd it's getting ridiculous. But anyways, this baby is one of those and I'm so freaking excited. I absolutely love The Selection series (check out our review here) and I've been waiting for this book since I read The Heir last year!
Who are you guys rooting for? I'm Team Kile. Keadlyn! I've seen so many people going crazy on Tumblr and Twitter and Instagram, and it's a great energy. Also, check out this quote from the book that epicreads have up on their website.

A COURT OF MIST AND FURY BY SARAH J MAAS - May 3rd 2016
This is the sequel to A Court of Thorns and Roses which I loved! (Check out our review!) Dead excited for this, most people have no idea what's going to happen but this one is big. Maybe not as big as The Crown for me, but I'm still very excited. People who've read ACOTAR know Sarah J Maas is immensely talented, and this is a book that I've heard a lot about. Here's a quote from this book:

THE UNEXPECTED EVERYTHING BY MORGAN MATSON - May 3rd 2016
I have yet to read a Morgan Matson book, Since You've Been Gone is on my tbr list, but I look forward to picking this up. I've seen it pop up in so many 'YA Novels of 2016' lists and I think people are genuinely excited. Also, the cover is so cool! This would be such a cute paperback to own. If you check out the blurb of this book on goodreads you'll notice that it makes it quite unclear what's happening with this book, but I'm really excited to find out.
--------------------------------------------------------------
THE HIDDEN ORACLE BY RICK RIORDAN - May 3rd 2016
Not really that invested in this book because I haven't read any of Rick Riordan's other books, but I know there is a lot of hype for this. This book is the first in a new 5 book series by Rick Riordan. This book is technically more middle-grade than YA, but it's one of the bigger releases of this year, so I put it here anyway!
--------------------------------------------------------------
You're telling me there's more releases on May 3rd? Yes, there are.
THE SQUARE ROOT OF SUMMER BY HARRIET REUTER HAPGOOD - May 3rd 2016
If I see this book in a bookstore, this will probably be a cover buy, because the cover is really pretty. This is really looking to be a cool book because it has Time Travel and romance. And I'm really hyped for this. I haven't seen a lot of time travel YA books, maybe it's more of a middle grade genre? I don't know. However this book's blurb seems intriguing and I will definitely find time to read this book.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Okay that's it for releases on May 3rd, let's get to releases on other days!
THE LAST STAR BY RICK YANCEY - May 24th 2016
This is the LAST book in The 5th Wave series and you have no idea how many people have tweeted Rick Yancey death threats that they will put in action if he kills Evan. I might be one of those people. We're all mad here. No judgment. Evan is my life. Anyways, the anticipation for this book is unbelievable, it's finally the end, and everyone is expecting a very emotional conclusion.
--------------------------------------------------------------
And finally.....
THE CROWN'S GAME BY EVELYN SKYE - May 17th
This is actually Evelyn Skye's debut and so far the blurb of the story sounds crazy good. This book is definitely on my tbr. Fantasy romance is exactly my kind of thing, and this series sounds awesome! I've seen a lot of booktubers who are excited for this and this is one to make time for. This book is set in Russia. Also the cover is stunning and the way it's done is really clever. My body is ready for this. Also Sabaa Tahir said that this book is, "A captivating tale teeming with hidden magic and fiery romance." Guys, if Sabaa Tahir says this is good, chances are it is.
--------------------------------------------------------------
My advice to all you readers out there is to clear your schedules, because May is going to be an awesome month! I hope you're excited for at least one of these books. If there's one that you're most excited for make sure to tell me in the comments. For me, it's going to have to be The Crown by Kiera Cass because I absolutely loved all of her books.
Love,
Yomna
