Just look at that STUNNING cover! Aspiring filmmaker and wallflower Twinkle Mehra has stories she wants to tell and universes she wants to explore, if only the world would listen. So when fellow film geek Sahil Roy approaches her to direct a movie for the upcoming Summer Festival, Twinkle is all over it. The chance to publicly showcase her voice as a director? Dream come true. The fact that it gets her closer to her longtime crush, Neil Roy—a.k.a. Sahil’s twin brother? Dream come true x 2.
When mystery man “N” begins emailing her, Twinkle is sure it’s Neil, finally ready to begin their happily-ever-after. The only slightly inconvenient problem is that, in the course of movie-making, she’s fallen madly in love with the irresistibly adorkable Sahil.
Twinkle soon realizes that resistance is futile: The romance she’s got is not the one she’s scripted. But will it be enough?
Told through the letters Twinkle writes to her favorite female filmmakers, From Twinkle, with Love navigates big truths about friendship, family, and the unexpected places love can find you.
It is an absolute pleasure to be part of my first blog tour ever! I'm so excited to be able to reveal an exclusive excerpt from the upcoming Roshani Chokshi release, Star-Touched Stories, a companion collection of three novellas to The Star-Touched Queen series! Check out my review and a sneak peak below!
It's summer! For me, that means READING! And also summer homework and packing but most importantly, books! My TBR is packed full of exciting reads this summer and I can't wait! To share my excitement, I'm posting some of the reads on my TBR (TBR stands for to be read for those of you unfamiliar with the term).
Juliette Ferrars thought she'd won. She took over Sector 45, was named the new Supreme Commander, and now has Warner by her side. But she's still the girl with the ability to kill with a single touch—and now she's got the whole world in the palm of her hand. When tragedy hits, who will she become? Will she be able to control the power she wields and use it for good?
I found a gif that perfectly describes my state of mind after this book:
No more needed... My rating: 5/5 (Okay I feel more 4.5 about this book but this one's for my baby Warner). Advice for people who haven't read this book yet: If you're going into this one expecting some romantic domestic fluff, boy are you in for a surprise, be warned!
I don't know why or how, but I've found that books seem to peak around May. All these months of good books in small quantities, and suddenly, BOOM! My TBR is about to take a huge hit because there are too many books and so little time. So, I decided to continue my now three-year tradition of posting a 'Mays I Need post'! It's been three years! I feel old. There are 5 books on this list, so let's get into it! Note: These books are in no particular order. I am most excited for the first book on this list, but the rest are equal.
My rating: 3.5/5 This is my first ARC (Advanced reader's copy) of 2018! Excited for more to come! This book comes out on March 8th 2018 in the UK.
Izzy O’Neill is an aspiring comic, an impoverished orphan, and a Slut Extraordinaire. Or at least, that’s what the malicious website flying round the school says. Izzy can try all she wants to laugh it off – after all, her sex life, her terms – but when pictures emerge of her doing the dirty with a politician’s son, her life suddenly becomes the centre of a national scandal. Izzy’s never been ashamed of herself before, and she’s not going to start now. But keeping her head up will take everything she has...
So I live in London, where we get a lot of dull, gloomy days. Some Sundays, when it's late afternoon, I want something good to read that's also effortless so I can have a fun, relaxing time, but I don't always find a good book that works for my mood. So, in hopes to alleviate your suffering (like the good angel I am), I am giving you 7 excellent reads for a gloomy Sunday night!
